Privacy Policy

AutoKontor, a platform published by Premium Choice Car GmbH, attaches essential importance to the protection of your personal data. This policy describes the data we process, the purposes pursued and the rights you have. Processing is carried out in accordance with the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

   The data controller is Premium Choice Car GmbH, the company that publishes the AutoKontor platform (Münchner Str. 18, 85774 Unterföhring, Germany). For any request regarding your data: contact@autokontor.de or via the contact form.

2. Data collected

   We only collect the data necessary for the service: - Account and contact: name, first name, e-mail and phone, when you create an account or contact us. - Projects: favourites, search alerts, financing or trade-in requests. - Anonymised browsing: pages viewed, searches and interactions, for audience measurement.

3. Purposes

   Your data is used to process your purchase request, to prepare and perform the sale, to manage your favourites and alerts, to improve the service and to meet our legal obligations. The legal bases are, as applicable, your consent, pre-contractual measures or performance of the sales contract, our legitimate interest in improving the platform, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Anonymised audience measurement

   Our audience measurement is anonymous by design: no third-party advertising cookies, no fingerprinting. The IP address is never stored (the geographic area is inferred, then the IP is immediately deleted). The session identifier is ephemeral and is never linked to your account.

5. Retention period

   Account data is kept for the duration of the relationship, then archived or deleted in accordance with regulations. Raw browsing data is kept for a maximum of 24 months, then aggregated and purged.

6. Data sharing

   Your data is never sold. It is processed by AutoKontor for the sale of your vehicle, and disclosed to a third party — financing institution, carrier, partner dealership — only to the extent strictly necessary to carry out your file. Technical providers act on our behalf, on instruction and under a processing agreement: our host, whose servers are located in the European Union; our audience measurement service, hosted in the European region; our email delivery service; and, if you enable them, the notification services of your browser or phone (Google, Mozilla, Apple depending on the device). The last two may involve a transfer outside the European Union. Where they do, it is governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or by an adequacy decision.

7. Your rights

   You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, portability, limitation and opposition to the processing of your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can exercise them by writing to contact@autokontor.de or via the contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: the one we come under is named below, and the authority of your country of residence in the European Union is equally competent.
