Is the simulation binding?
No. The simulation is indicative and non-binding. It gives you an estimated payment before any application.
See it in contextWhat minimum down payment is required?
The down payment depends on the vehicle and the lender. The simulator lets you test different levels.
See it in contextHow long to get approval?
Once we have your complete file, approval in principle usually comes within 5 business days.
See it in contextCan I finance and trade in my old vehicle?
Yes. You can combine financing and trade-in: your old vehicle’s value reduces the amount to finance.
See it in contextCan I drive several vehicles on the same day?
Yes, within what the slot allows and the vehicles available on that date. Tell us when booking: every additional vehicle has to be moved.
See it in contextWhat happens if I do not buy?
Nothing else: the fee remains due, and we take the vehicle back to the dealership. The visit commits you to nothing.
See it in contextCan I postpone my visit?
A postponement requested before the fixed date is possible, subject to slot availability. If you do not attend, the fee remains due.
See it in contextCan I buy without coming?
Yes. The visit is not compulsory: every vehicle data sheet states its condition, inspection date and disclosed defects, and you have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal after handover.
See it in contextIs the estimate really free?
Yes. Valuing your vehicle is 100% free with no obligation whatsoever.
See it in contextDo I have to buy a vehicle from you?
No. You can part-exchange your vehicle without buying anything, or offset its value against the price of your next vehicle.
See it in contextHow long does the trade-in take?
We get back to you within 24 hours with a valuation. Once the offer is accepted, the part-exchange completes within a few days.
See it in contextWho handles the paperwork?
AutoKontor handles all the administrative formalities of the part-exchange. You have nothing to manage.
See it in contextWhat exactly does this amount cover?
The service fee: sourcing and advice, transport, paperwork and registration. The vehicle price belongs to the sale contract and is not included in it.
See it in contextCan the flat rate go up along the way?
No. It is set at order according to the vehicle value and does not change afterwards. If transport costs more than expected, we bear the difference.
See it in contextIs there customs duty to pay?
No, as long as the vehicle moves within the European Union: the single market has no customs duty between member states.
See it in contextWho pays VAT, and where?
It depends on the vehicle. A used vehicle is generally invoiced inclusive of tax. A vehicle that is new for tax purposes — under six months or under 6,000 km — is taxed in your country of residence, whatever the country of purchase.
See it in contextCan I collect the vehicle myself?
Yes. The flat rate covers the paperwork, which stays the same; there is then no transport or registration to charge.
