What “inspected” means

• History

  Service book, number of owners, provenance, and consistency of the mileage with successive readings. An unexplained gap rules the vehicle out.

• Roadworthiness test

  Its date appears on every vehicle page. Test expired or major defect unrepaired: the vehicle is not listed.

• Declared condition

  Bodywork, interior, tyres, wear parts. Every known defect is on the listing and the order form; a declared defect does not give rise to a warranty claim.

• The paperwork

  Registration document of the country of origin, European certificate of conformity where applicable, no lien or retention of title. No complete paperwork, no listing.
